Emergency Communications - Codered April 03, 2013

Dear Brenham Resident:

As the Communication Director for our city, we have contracted with Codered to provide an Emergency Mass Notification System. During an emergency, utilizing Codered's system, we will be able to quickly send important information to our residents via email, text message and/or voice call.

CodeRED signup

Authorized staff members will collect and facilitate these messages. Codered already possesses a substantial database that contains some residential contact information. But, you may want to access the opt-in site via the link and review or supplement your contact information. There is no charge to you to participate. We hope that you will take time to participate in this program, so that we may better communicate with you during an emergency.

If you have signed up for Alerted in the past, your contact information is being transfered to Codered and you won't have to sign up a second time.

Thank you,

Stephen Draehn
