Library Information

The library offers a variety of services for both adults and children. There are over 43,000 items to check out. This number includes books (regular and large print), audio CDs, DVDs, and a genealogy collection. In addition the Library subscribes to 60 magazines and offers a large digital content library of e-books and audio books. Services offered include: Internet, Inter-Library Loan (ILL), faxing, color printing, copying and scanning.

The library offers programs for seniors at area assisted care facilities and story time for children throughout the year. Each summer, the library has a summer reading program with special programs held on Tuesdays.

Library cards are available for any Texas resident and children five and older; a parent or legal guardian's signature is required for children up to the age of 16. A photo ID or proof of residency is also required. Library cards are free. Replacement cards are available for $2.00

There are public access computers, with connectivity to the Internet. Library patrons must register at circulation desk to use the computers and have no more than $5 in fines, or 5 overdue items. There is a one-hour time limit, which may be extended if there are no other patrons waiting.
